I enjoy visiting gardens across the world whether it is a friend’s garden or a botanical garden. Gardening is not about having a perfect garden but about enjoying the calm and beauty of the garden, the constant changes, experimenting with new plants and new ideas for planting.
Working in the garden, over the last years, I could not help noticing the parallels between working with data & working in the garden. Working with data is like working in a garden. It is not a project that has a start and end date. Both data and gardens are long term investments, with their highs & lows. You need to plan, maintain, protect, govern & grow them.
