My husband and I grew up in Mumbai and were extremely lucky to have fathers that were interested in gardening. We had flowers, crotons and lots of fruit trees.

When we moved into our home some years ago, the garden was overgrown with fruit trees and plants that had not been cared for in years. Over the years, our front garden has gradually evolved and is now filled with flowers and evergreens. Recently, we have reduced the lawn area and are focusing on plants that will attract bees and butterflies.

The garden at the back of our home is under development and will focus on berries, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs.
