Curly leaf kale is one of the healthy greens (super foods) that is not much fun to eat. I have been looking over recipes for kale crisps, smoothies, soups etc.
This week, I had some kefir in the fridge and decided to try curly leaf kale lassi. If you like the taste of black salt in salads you will probably like this one.

1 packet curly leaf kale (approx. 150 gms)
juice of 1/2 lemon (adjust to taste)
1 cup water
1/2 litre kefir
ice cubes
1/2 tsp jeera sip mix (ready mix of jeera, black salt etc)
Putting it together
Add the kale and water to a blender and blend to a fine puree.
Add the kefir and blend again to a smooth frothy lassi.
Finally add a little black salt and lemon, blend and taste the mix. Note! Adjust the quantity of lemon and black salt based on your liking.
Strain the lassi into a glass over a few ice cubes and enjoy! Refreshing and super healthy 🙂
