Ginger lemon shots for breakfast

Ginger and lemon are super healthy for most people. Making a tea with these is very refreshing. However, I find it very easy to have a ginger lemon juice ready to drink.

Ingredients

125 gms ginger – peeled & cut into slices

1 big lemon – peeled and cut into wedges

5 – 8 dl apple juice – natural with no added sugar, based on taste

Putting it together

Blend the ginger and lemon slices to a fine puree.

Add the apple juice and blend once again to get a smooth liquid. I like the taste of ginger so I do not use much apple juice. This is a matter of taste.

Strain and bottle the liquid. Can be stored for 3-5 days in the fridge so you can enjoy a small shot glass every morning.
