Spring is here

In Norway, we have a few public holidays during the spring months. This means a couple of long weekends off and sometimes some good weather. We decided on a weekend trip to the South of Norway, staying in Arendal and doing a day trip to an Art museum in Kristiansand (https://www.kunstsilo.no/)

A walkaround along the Arendal waterfront with the cherry blossoms and street art reminding us to stop drilling for oil, was a perfect way to kickoff the stay. While most of the day in Kristiansand was spent in the art museum, we did get a chance to walk around and admire the city. I loved the paths lined with trees in multiple shades of red and green leaves and tulips and daffodils in bloom everywhere.

Spring this year has been a bit of a roller coaster ride for me when it comes to my health. My CT scan at the end of April, showed that I had a condition (pneumothorax) that could have been quite critical. It showed that my lung had collapsed slightly, causing an air pocket around the lung. Thankfully, the follow up Xray showed that the air pocket had reduced and hopefully the lung was healing without any medical intervention.

Based on the CT scan report, I have been asked to do a MRI. Another scan and the waiting for these results has started.

All told, I feel good, though a little out of breath and tired, at times. Hoping that the MRI report is good.🙏🏼
